pupil - Light enters the eye through this black hole in the centre of the eye, Iris - the coloured part of the eye, lens - focuses the light entering the eye onto the back of the eye. It refracts the light which turns the image we see upside down., cornea - the transparent coating which covers the eye and protects the iris and pupil at the front of the eye., sciera - the white part of the eye., retina - contains millions of photoreceptors which convert light into electrical impulses which are sent along the optic nerve to the brain., Optic nerve - sends signals representing colour, light and dark from the eye to the brain which interprets what we see.,
