These sentences are NOT an example: a) I watched him score a goal. / I watched him scoring a goal. b) I can hear the wind blowing. / I can hear the wind blow. c) I felt the cold freezing my ears. / I felt the cold freeze my ears. d) I make people laughing. / I make people laugh. 7) The verbs make (meaning obligate) and let are usually followed by an object and the infinitive without to. These are correct examples: a) She never lets me play. / She makes people write everything she says. b) Elza said to let it go. / Anna made Elza to come back. c) Let the kids go to the park. / My grandma made me drawing a picture. 8) These verbs are followed by -ing, EXCEPT: a) avoid b) deny c) suggest d) offer
