Maya had just returned from her trip to two very different towns: Bellmere and Stonehollow. Bellmere was ____ with life — street performers on every corner, cafés spilling out onto the sidewalks, and music floating in the air. The houses, though, were small and ____, often filled with mismatched furniture and the smell of fresh bread. Stonehollow, in contrast, was ____ and incredibly ____. Every street was perfectly aligned, the gardens were symmetrical, and even the color of the houses followed a pattern. Yet, it lacked warmth. “It ____ have been too sterile for me,” Maya thought. As she unpacked, Maya noticed the souvenir from Bellmere she almost forgot to buy. “I ____ have gotten more of these!” she sighed. She thought back to a local artist she met but didn’t talk to. “I ____ learned so much about the town if I had taken the time.” Bellmere was ____, loud, and unpredictable — but also adventurous. Stonehollow was beautiful in a different way — calm, neat, and thoughtful. “Maybe I should have stayed an extra day in each,” Maya whispered, already planning her return.
