Hi! My name’s Gareth and I’m a student at Penglais Comprehensive School in Aberystwyth, a small town in Wales. In my school we study both English and Welsh., At home, Welsh is our first language so I usually speak Welsh with my parents and grandparents. I like listening to my grandfather tell interesting stories in Welsh., Our school is great because we’ve got lots of different clubs.There’s a guitar club on Thursdays. Students can learn how to play the guitar. My friend Isabel goes to this club. She really loves playing music and singing and she’s really good. I’m terrible at singing!, We also have a hip-hop group. Students can learn hip-hop music and dance and sometimes they have concerts., My friend Darren goes to Rugby Club. He can run very fast but I’m really slow! Lots of Welsh people love playing and watching rugby but I think it’s boring!, I go to Surf Club every Tuesday after school. We can surf and swim. I love surfing and I can swim fast. Our teacher is an expert surfer. He’s brilliant but he shouts a lot!.
