1 - When Patrick was 16, he was captured during a raid and taken away to Ireland., 3  - After 6 years working for Milchu, Patrick heard a voice in his sleep that told him it was time to go home. He escaped. , 2 - Patrick had to work looking after sheep for a man called Milchu. , 4 - Patrick later returned to Ireland. He had a mission to tell people about God , 5 - Patrick met a local chieftain called Dichu and helped him to come to know God. Dichu gave Patrick a barn., 6 - Patrick travelled around Ireland for many years, he spread God’s word among the people, and built churches and places to pray., 7 - Patrick died on March 17th around AD 461 (over 1550 years ago)., 8 - Now, many people celebrate Patrick and remember his story every year on March 17th.,
