Comes away each month during menstruation (if a fertilised egg has not implanted in it), Fallopian tube - There are two of these, they transport eggs to the uterus. Fertilisation takes place here., Ovaries - Where the eggs are made and female hormones, oestrogen and progesterone, are produced., Vagina - A muscular hollow tube where the sperm are deposited during intercourse, Cervix - A strong ring of muscle at the neck of the uterus.,
