1) The structure of a superlative form is: subject + verb to be+ the ´+ adjective(est)+ definition 2) For adjectives that contain more than two syllables, we add "the most" to the adjective. Example: Monkeys are the most intelligent animals in the world.  3) Examples of superlatives: Everest is the highest mountain in the world. 4) Some adjectives are irregular. That means we can´t add est to the root. For example, we cannot say "Venice is the gooddest city in the world". We say "Venice is the best city in the world" 5) Examples of irregular superlatives: Fast food is the worst diet for our health.
