Scaffolding - It refers to any kind of support that you could provide your students with., Mouthing  - When teachers try to explain new things with the lips without making any sound, Soothing activities  - When there is a chance for students to take a pause and engage in an activity that will help to regulate their emotions or behaviours. For example, choosing a colouring sheet, listening to relaxing music or a physical activity like stretching that will allow students to shift their focus., TPR (Total Physical Response)  - An approach in which the teacher plays the role of parent. S/he starts by saying a word ('jump') or a phrase ('look at the board') and demonstrating an action. Then the students all do the action., Stirring activities  - These are the activities which encourage your learners to be active. They usually require movement – anything from standing, jumping and acting to walking or running. When these activities are in play, you can expect noise, laughing, and screaming. They include songs, roleplays, ball games, class games and mingles., Attention grabbers  - When your strategies for getting your students to listen do not seem to be working or your students seem to be getting louder and louder, you can make use of these activities.  , Miming  - Expressing things by using gestures and the students try to guess (used in teaching vocabulary in particular), Realia - It refers to any real objects we use in the classroom to bring the class to life and to make the learning experience more memorable for the learners,
