Do : Write the concern down factually, Pass on your concerns, Analyse the risk involved and take action if they are deemed unsafe  , Follow up with safeguarding leads to make sure safeguarding measures are being put in place., Take the child or allegation seriously, Respond to safeguarding issues in the least intrusive way possible., Don't : Approach parents about the allegation, Discuss the allegation with others infront of the child, Promise the child everything will now be okay., Assume that someone else knows or will act, Investigate or seek to prove or disprove possible abuse, Ask leading questions,
