EMERGENT: This is the top layer of the rainforest., There is a lot of sunlight., You can see the top of the tallest trees here., Macaws and hummingbirds live here. , CANOPY : It´s under the emergent layer. , Most of the animals that can hang on the tree live here,, Frogs, sloths, and toucans live here., You can see leafy trees that look like green umbrellas. , UNDERSTORY : It is beneath the canopy., It is dark and humid here., It is home to animals that can climb and snakes., Jaguar and boa snake constrictors live here., FOREST FLOOR: This layer is the darkest., Anteaters, tapir, and scorpions live in this layer., It´s below the understory,, It´s hard for plants to grow here because there is no sunlight.,
