Use 2 tape measures to form axis across the length and width of a field, use a random number generator to get 2 corrdinates, have 1 person stand at each coordinate on the tape measure, they walk forwad from the tape measure until they meet, place a quadrat on the ground where they meet, count the number of daisies inside the quadrat, repeat these steps for another 9 quadrats, calculate the average number of daisies per quadrat, multiply this by the number of quadrats that fit in the area of field sampled.
