Registers,   temporary memory locations within the processor. They can hold memory addresses, instructions or results of a calculation, Control Unit, controls sequencing of fetching, decoding and execution of instructions, ALU, performs all the calculations and logical operators such AND & OR , Interpreter, translates source code ONE line at a time, Compiler, translates WHOLE source code into object code , Data bus, transfers data between the processor and memory and vice versa. It is a two way bus (bi-directional) as information can be written from the processor to memory and read from memory to the processor., Address bus, identifies the memory location that is going to be accessed. It is only a one-way bus(uni-directional) as only the processor can identify the memory address.
