Have you finished the project yet? We have to hand it in on Monday. I'm all set!, Oh, it slipped my mind. I'm swamped with work., Your story doesn't add up. I saw you on the street yesterday. You were sitting in the bushes with a sandwich, playing on your phone. You didn't look like a very busy person. Well, if you are ready to get a failing grade for the project, it’s up to you., Don't jump to conclusions. It’s not what it looks like., You've got me hooked. What actually happened?, I was hiding in the bushes from my mom. Well, from my sister and mom., Even more interesting. As far as I know, your sister doesn't look like an angry uncle with a stick, and she's only six., I promised to buy her a hamster., And what's the problem? Couldn't find a hamster?, I found one, but the hamster was only sold with a cat, so I bought the cat too., Your sister loves animals. I think she was happy., She was at first, but then the cat ate the hamster., How awful! What's next?, Mom had to go out and asked me to put the laundry in the washing machine. I did it and turned it on, but I didn't know the cat was inside. When mom found out, she started chasing me, she was so angry. I don't know exactly what she was planning to do with me, so I hid in the bushes., And what, did you sleep in that bush?, No, a little later, a homeless man came to the bush and said it was his bush, and I ate his sandwich., And he beat you up?, No, he said, "We are on the same page"- someone was chasing him too, He overshared his life details but it was getting dark and I didn't want to overcomplicate his life by taking his sleeping spot, so I went home., How did they greet you?, Fortunately, the cat survived, and the hamster, it turns out, had just crawled under the couch., What a story! And today Vova is throwing a chip party, and I'm on the fence about going to the party or not. Maybe I should finish the project instead? You love chips., Yes, but I don't like Vova., We're on the same page. I love chips too, but Vova is so mean and greedy. I think I'll stay home and finish the project.
