Force - A push or a pull that can make something move or stop., Motion - A change in position; when something is moving., Friction - A force that slows things down when they rub against each other., Gravity - A force that pulls objects toward each other, like how Earth pulls us down., Acceleration - When something speeds up, slows down, or changes direction., Inertia - The idea that objects want to keep doing what they’re already doing—moving or staying still., Mass - The amount of matter in something; how much 'stuff' it’s made of., Position - The place where something is., Direction - The path something is moving in, like up, down, left, or right., Speed - How fast something is moving., Net Force - The total force acting on an object after all pushes and pulls are added together., Air Resistance (Drag) - A type of friction that slows things down as they move through the air., Energy - The ability to do work or make things move., Momentum - How much motion something has, based on its mass and speed., Kinetic Energy - The energy something has while it’s moving., Potential Energy - Stored energy something has because of its position or condition., Velocity - How fast something is moving and in what direction., Balanced force - Equal forces working against each other. They do not cause movement., Unbalanced force - Unequal forces that make something move or change direction., Newton’s First Law - An object will stay still or keep moving unless a force makes it change. (Law of Inertia),
