slip your mind/memory - to be forgotten , bring back memories - make you start thinking about it, ring a bell - to sound familiar, reminisce about - to talk or write about past experiences that you remember with pleasure, haunting  - beautiful, but in a sad way and often in a way that cannot be forgotten, take a trip down memory lane - to remember happy times in the past, off the top of your head - you say it without thinking about it much before you speak, especially because you do not have enough time, a vague recollection - not a very clear memory, on the tip of your tongue - you think you know it and that you will be able to remember it very soon, a blast from the past  - something or someone that surprises you because you had almost forgotten about it,
