1. one of two pyruvates is broken into 2 carbon molecules, the removed carbon molecule leave as CO₂ (waste), NAD+ becomes NADH, Acetyl-CoA is formed when two carbon bind with CoA, the 2 carbon molecule with the CoA (CC-CoA) bond to a 4 carbon molecule making citric acid, CoA is detached and goes back to step two, citric acid is broken down by an enzyme to form a 5 carbon molecule, one CO₂ leaves as waste, NADH is made, 5 carbon molecule broken down to a 4 carbon molecule, CO₂ (waste), NADH, and 1 ATP are made, 4 carbon molecule rearranged and NADH and FADH₂ are made, NAD+ (1), NADH (1), NADH  (4), NAD+ (4), NADH (6), FADH₂  (6), NAD+ (6), FAD+ (6), NAD+ (5), NADH (5), ADP, ATP , Pyruvate , CO2 (1), CO2 (4).
