1) Fard acts a) Takbiir Tahriimah - saying “Allaahu Akbar” when commencing Salaah b) Reciting the Suurah al-Faatihah specifically in every Rak’ah of Salaah. c) Performing Salaah while there is an urge to go to toilet. d) Performing the postures of Salaah in the correct sequence. e) Qa’dah Akhiirah - last long sitting posture. f) Performing Sajdah in every Rak’ah. 2) Wajib acts a) Reciting the Qiraa’ah aloud in the first two raka’aat of Fajr, Maghrib & ‘Ishaa’. b) Reciting the Suurah al-Faatihah specifically in every Rak’ah of Salaah. c) Performing Salaah while there is an urge to go to toilet. d) Performing the postures of Salaah in the correct sequence. e) Sitting in Jalsah (brief sitting posture) between the two Sajdah’s. f) Performing Salaah in untidy or stained clothes. 3) Sunnah acts a) Saying “Allaahu Akbar” aloud when going into Rukuu’ and Sajdah. b) Raising the right forefinger when reciting the Kalimah Shahaadah in Tashah’hud. c) Placing the right hand over the left in Qiyaam. d) Standing in Qawmah (brief standing posture) after Rukuu’ before going into Sajdah. e) Standing with the feet moderately apart (or next to each other, for females) in Qiyaam. f) Fidgetting with one’s clothes and looking around. 4) Makruh acts a) For a male not to wear a prayer hat. b) Keeping the right foot up with the toes facing forward in Jalsah and Qa’dah. c) Standing in Qawmah (brief standing posture) after Rukuu’ before going into Sajdah. d) Turning the face to the right and left at the end of the Salaah. e) Fidgetting with one’s clothes and looking around. f) Performing Salaah while there is an urge to
