Two brothers, Ali Baba and Quassim, live two very different lives long ago in Persia., Ali Baba works hard. While cutting wood in the forest, he observes a group of thieves at a cave., The thieves hide their loot in the cave, and Ali Baba learns the password., Ali Baba takes some money home and his wife, Fatima tries to pretend it is grain., When Ali tells Quassim about the money, he goes there, but forgets the password and is discovered by the thieves., The thieves kill Quassim. Ali Baba brings his body home., Morgiana, the servant, has a plan to pretend Quassim is ill., The thieves want to find out who in the town died and send a fake priest who marks the house with an X., Morgiana sees the X and marks all of the other houses with the same mark., An oil merchant asks to stay the night with his many barrels of oil and Ali Baba agrees., Morgiana hears a barrel cough and discovers the hiding thieves. She seals the barrels and rolls them to the police., Morgiana is rewarded for her service to the family and returns to her country., Ali Baba and his family live a wealthy life, but the riches disappear after two generations..
