Coral bleaching - Coral bleaching is when rising ocean temperatures causes coral to die.  Coral also protects coastal areas, and the loss of coral may lead to erosion of the coast., Forest fires - Forest fires are dangerous as they release the stored carbon in trees as they burn, also leaving fewer trees around to absorb it back and create oxygen. , Global warming - Global warming is caused by the production of CO2 through burning fossil fuels. , Drought  - This is caused by a lack of rain. This is dangerous as living things need water so survive. Also, droughts increase the likelihood of forest fires. , Nuclear waste  - Nuclear waste is generated by creating power from radioactive substances. This is dangerous as it can create mutations in living things, cancer, and stays dangerous for thousands of years. , Ice caps melting  - Melting ice caps is caused by increasing temperatures. This is a problem because sea levels rise and polar bears lose their natural habitats. This makes it difficult for Polar bears to hunt and can lead to them being threatened., Extinction - Extinction is caused by animals losing their habitat or food sources. This is dangerous as a diverse ecosystem is very healthy. Also, when one species goes extinct, others follow as all animals rely on each other in some way. , Water pollution - Water pollution is caused by plastic or toxic substances entering them. This is dangerous as water bodies like the oceans and rivers are full of animals we depend on and losing one leads to the loss of others. , Overfishing - Overfishing is caused by fish being taken out of the water faster than they can repopulate. This is dangerous as billions of people rely on fish and losing them could cause massive health issues. , Burning fossil fuels  - Burning fossil fuels is done to generate power and energy. It adds CO2 to the atmosphere and further warms the planet. , Overpopulation - Overpopulation is caused by people giving birth far faster than people die. This is potentially dangerous as more people means more mouths to feed, water to drink, and homes to be built. , Deforestation  - Deforestation is caused by trees being cut down for commercial reasons. This is dangerous as trees help to moderate the climate by absorbing CO2. Without them, CO2 builds up far faster, further warming the planet. ,
