Speaker 1: used chiropractic, had a slipped disc, the treatment worked really well, was told by a doctor to use alternative medicine, felt better with fewer than the recommended number of treatments, Speaker 2: doesn't really believe in alternative medicine, but was willing to try it, was having one alternative treatment when he/she was given another type of alternative medicine, tried osteopathy, bad back, acupuncture - needles in the ear, felt much much better, Speaker 3: doesn't believe in alternative medicine of any kind, thinks alternative medicine works only because of the placebo effect, waste of time and money, can be harmful and dangerous, Speaker 4: had been taking traditional medicine, but it hadn't worked, might consider repeating the treatment as a last resort, inflamed tendon in his/her foot, tried acupuncture, didn't do any good at all,
