Simple squamous - Single layer of flat cells, located in the glomeruli of the kidneys, air sacs of lungs, and lining of the hear and vessels, which allows molecules to diffuse easily, Simple cuboidal - Cube cells in a single layer, within kidney tubules, ducts in small glands, and the surface of ovaries, which function in secretion and absorbtion., Simple columnar - Tall cells that form the lining of the digestive tract, small bronchi, uterine tubes and regions of the uterus (ciliated form), which function in absorption and secretion of enzymes and mucus, and may have cilia., Pseudostratified columnar  - Elongated cells of different heights, nuclei at different levels, and have cilia; located in the upper respiratory tract and trachea, as well as male sperm ducts, and the ducts of large glands; functions in secreting mucus and in the movement of mucus with cilia., Stratified squamous - Several cells layers, flattened at the top, and more cube shaped near the bottom; use for protection (SKIN), but also lines the esophagus, mouth, and vagina., Transitional - Several layers of cube shaped and tall cells, and cells at the surface are dome shaped or flat; this stretchy tissues is used in the urinary system and lines the ureters, bladder, and urethra.,
