"I am saved!" Tom cheered in delight., To his horror, the minute he stopped running, the robber charged towards him and brandished a blade., He bellowed, "You had better stop shouting! If not, you will get it from me!" , Beads of perspiration trickled down Tom's forehead as he felt the cold blade pressed against his neck., Not daring to utter a word, Tom meekly complied with the burglar's demand., Seeing the police approaching, the desperate burglar hollered out loud, "If you come any nearer, he will die in my hands!",
