1) Trustees veto a Conference Advisory Action without a legitimate reason to do so. 2) We don’t have much time, so let’s hurry this discussion. 3) Why do trustees talk about business if we are a spiritual entity? 4) We accept contributions from anyone in any amount. 5) We vote without discussion. 6) Trustees, directors and staff shouldn’t vote at the conference. 7) We pass things with simple majority because substantial unanimity is too hard. 8) We don’t have a GSR. 9) I have 2 supervisors and they give me conflicting directions. 10) If most of us agree, then the minority voice isn’t that important. 11) Rotation is overrated. 12) Our delegate doesn’t do a report back to our Area. 13) The fellowship should have a voice in hiring staff. 14) We don’t agree with spending funds at GSO even though the law requires it. 15) They are not a group because they are not listed. 16) We have a GSR, but we don’t send them to District or Area meetings. 17) I vote at all of my groups. 18) The Conference decides what is printed in the Grapevine Magazine. 19) AAWS and AAGV should combine. 20) We don’t ask for minority opinion. 21) We refuse to compromise. 22) Right of decision is only for New York, not groups. 23) Our DCM tells us how we need to do things. 24) Our DCM complains about how horrible their service position is. 25) We filed a lawsuit against a non-alcoholic beer company. 26) We don’t have suggested requirements for leadership. 27) I need a group conscience to buy coffee, but I’m in charge of making it. 28) Our just sends money to Area and GSO. 29) We ban people who break the traditions. 30) We exercise the power of the purse but we are not going to explain why. 31) Our delegate left the Conference to go see a musical on Broadway. 32) My committee doesn’t have a scope. 33) Listen to me tell you exactly how to you should do that. 34) We shouldn’t experiment with new ideas. 35) I don’t trust the people in service (i.e. GSRs, Area people, Trustees or NY staff). 36) Traditions can only be interpreted one way. 37) People in AA should work for less money because they love AA. 38) I don’t know the responsibilities of my service position. 39) I don’t look to the future because I live one day at a time. 40) Trustees shouldn’t make decisions without consulting the Conference.
