He would ____ their fuzzy red stockings that would hang on the wall, and put some gifts under the tree for Ella, Henry and Rosie. He would be excited to have some ____ and a ____ that Ella would set on the bench for him. Ella was glad she wasn't bad. She was glad to be on the list to get presents from the kind old man in a red hat. She was ____ that man ____ ____ her in any bad acts. She was not so sure about her cat named Kitty, because he would ____ the rug when he was told not to. Oh, my! ____ would he get as a gift from Santa? Would he get a gift or not? Kitty would twitch and ____ some on the rug and my mom and dad ____ that he shouldn’t do that. I’m upset that my cat was bad. I’m upset that my cat might not get a Christmas gift. They wanted to get a lot of rest for Christmas morning. It would be a big day for everyone in the family. As Ella, Henry and Rosie slept, the Jolly old Saint Nicholas did drop into the living room. He ____ the big red stockings by the chimney. He also put the presents under the Christmas tree for Ella, Henry and Rosie. Then, he could see the note that Ella left on the ____ by the milk. “Ho, Ho, Ho! What is this?” he said with a grin. “I can fix this for my friend, Ella. Her frisky pet is in a fix!” Then he put his hand on his tummy with a jolly old grin. “Ho, Ho, Ho! When Ella, Henry and Rosie got up with the sun, they was glad to find that the Santa had some fun things for them. Most of the gifts had some red wrapping paper on them but they did not stayed wrapped for long. They could rip ____ the wrapping as quick as a flash. Mom, Dad and the kids were having so much fun. Then Ella could see the gift for her Kitty. She quickly went to help Kitty get the wrapping paper ____. ____ did he find? Ella was so excited! Mom and Dad were so happy. Most of all, the Kitty was glad. Kitty bolted as fast as he could to his new present. It was a tall scratching post with a ball on a ____.
