Blended learning/delivery - A way of learning that combines traditional classroom lessons with lessons that use computer technology and may be given over the internet, Lectures - One of the main methods of teaching at universities. They tend to be larger than a regular school class and less interactive., Core modules - At university students take a certain number of these units of a course each year. Some are optional -these are compulsory., Seminar - A teaching class, overseen by a lecturer, in which anything from half a dozen to about 35 student discuss and do exercises. They're similar to tutorials but involve more students., Group/individual tutorial - A small group of students (or just one) who meet up with a tutor and discuss their studies., Guest lecture - A talk given by a visiting expert, an artist, designer or engineer, for example ., Workshop - A group session where you take part in an activity on a particular subject or project., Group work - Completing tasks in a small team - gives you the chance to learn from each other.
