Even though it was initially frustrating and tiring, I am proud that I took the time to learn about cooking. - I can now put together home-cooked meals every day for my family to save money and thrive., Being diagnosed with dyslexia was a lot harder for me to accept because I did not want to be labeled with a learning disability. - Through time and years of hard work, however, I learned that a label does not define me., Growing up watching cooking shows like “Iron Chef” or “Beat Bobby Flay” made the art of cooking look extremely simple; unfortunately, cooking at such a young age, I failed miserably. - Now that fifteen years have passed and many trials and errors later, I can now proudly say my cooking is cherished by my family., Changing my career choice after dedicating my whole life to art was a terrifying but much-needed change. - Life did not go the way I first planned, but I learned to adapt and create new opportunities for something better., My first day on the job wasn't as expected because I lacked communication skills. - Nevertheless, learning day by day at work allowed me to understand what I'm capable of.,
