This common racist view about African countries reinforces racial stereotypes seen in predominant stories told about Africa. Ultimately, stories in the media and in books, must be more racially inclusive.   a) The danger of a single story is that people have narrow views.  b) A single story is dangerous.  c) A single story reinforces narrow views about race. 7) Single stories about neurotypical people can also alienate people further. For example, when there are only stories about neurotypical children or neurodivergent children are only ever portrayed as 'whacky' or 'crazy', it only shows one side to being neurodivergent. Until recently, the only autistic person ever seen in a movie was 'Rain man', so people had a narrow view of what autism looks like.
