Dear Matthew, I’m writing to talk about our meeting this Sunday. I’ve told you that I wouldn’t be able to make it, and I appreciate you giving me the time off. Anyway, I thought I could send you some updates on our event next month. Everything is going well in general, but there are things we need to look at., First of all, the posters for our event have been printed and copied. It’s come out quite nicely. I’m sure people will notice the environmentally friendly paper we use! Also, I got hold of the person who can provide us with the gloves and garbage bags for people to use on the day. A total of 20 pairs of gloves and 10 garbage bags have been ordered, and will be delivered next week. I think that should be enough for our team. , Something we need to think about is refreshments. I’m not sure if we should provide anything, as they can bring their own packed snacks, and since we’re only cleaning the park for a few hours, I don’t think it’s necessary to provide food and drink. Anyway, I suppose this will be decided at the meeting. , Another thing I’m thinking about is talking to people from the local radio station or newspaper. I think it’s good to have some publicity. I mean I know our event is not that big, but if it is reported somewhere, more people will hear about our little organization., Well, that’s all I’ve got for now.
