This group has worked on consonant blends., This group is currently reviewing consonant digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh, and ph)., On Tuesdays, the students usually review a previous phonics skill(s), learn a new skill, and practice reading the new sound-spelling pattern (decoding)., On Thursdays, we usually engage in encoding (word building and writing) activities., Moving forward, I will try to align my lessons with the phonics/reading skill(s) the students are learning in class., You can expect another update during spring break., The wordwall activities you may receive from me via email (ggfrango) are optional and extra practice for the students., Reading groups are fluid, and students can be moved to a different group based on their needs..
