The Ukrainian pupils’ studying is conducted at the national schools, lyceums and gymnasiums, where children get deep knowledge in different subjects., The day starts at 8 or 9 a.m. and one lesson lasts for 45 minutes., There are 12 years of compulsory education and two main stages: an elementary school and secondary school in Ukraine., The first stage is the elementary school which lasts 4 years and it teaches pupils basic skills in Mathematics, Languages, Art, Natural Science, Physical Training and several other subjects., The second stage takes 5 years and provides deeper knowledge and skills in science and humanities subjects and this stage lasts 8 years., After successful completion of the basic and higher secondary education, the pupils have to pass the final examinations and receive certificates of general secondary education, The Ukrainian students are marked according to the 12-grade system., After every lesson students get marks in their record-books and class register., The points can vary from excellent (12, 11, 10) till poor (1, 2, 3)., So, the national educational process is a complex system, which enables pupils to get necessary knowledge.,
