Everyday people are making a new huge step in Technology, probably many of the technological problems, or the negative aspects of technology nowadays are not going to be problems in 15 years. All thanks to people who think outside of the box and create new solutions to problems. Thanks to that one person that thinks “outside of the box” today we have the most amazing technological devices, in which we can create new and strong connections., Collaboration - A good example of a connection we can achieve with technology and science is collaboration. With it we can form part of communities and collaborate with them. For example when you enter a donation website you are collaborating with them and creating a connection too. When you watch a video of someone who needs any kind of support online you can help them and create an instant connection with them., Consumed - This word is key when talking about technology. If people don’t get “consumed” by technology, it is the most amazing invention in the world. Most of the problems that we see in technology are because nowadays people are addicted to it, and believe that they can't live without it! If we use technology wisely and correctly we can create the best connections with people online and with the actual device, otherwise it can be very unhealthy., Ethically - Amy Vetter (The woman that made the video) claimed that the best way to create connections with technology is in an ethical way. She is totally right, because as we said before if technology is used in the correct way it can be incredible. What we mean when we say “using technology in an ethical way” is that we need to think in an ethical way while using it. Just as Brian Patrick Green said “technology ethics is growing in prominence is that new technologies give us more power to act, which means that we have to make choices we didn't have to make before. While in the past our actions were involuntarily constrained by our weakness, now, with so much technological power, we have to learn how to be voluntarily constrained by our judgment: our ethics., Future - Since technology is advancing so quickly in the future there are going to be little things that are going to differentiate us from robots, one of them is connections. It’s going to be an almost impossible task for scientists to create a machine that can actually feel the power of connections, that is why they are so important., Impact - Technology has a huge impact on society. It influences the way we communicate and the way we learn. In a positive way this impact can help us connect. This happens because we can learn new things through technology., The gift of technology - We normally discuss all the negative impacts of technology, but we almost never look around and think “wow technology is impressive”. Technology is a gift, that’s why we need to learn how to use it. We can cause a lot of harm and bad things with technology, but we can also inspire people with it, and create new connections., Fear - Technology is something that many people fear. Since it is unknown. Probably the first person to create a technological device had fear that people hated it, but instead it became one of humanity’s biggest achievements., Connections - 20 years ago one of the biggest technological devices was the TV, nowadays, we have robots that can speak, cell phones, apps, etc. We create so big connections with our electronic devices that it can even be addictive.
