I have a new USB flash drive which can hold 8GB of data. , There are three main types of storage devices: magnetic, optical and flash memory storage devices., I store data in a USB and back up them onto my solid-state drives., CD, DVD and Blu-ray are examples of optical storage devices., Although CDs and DVDs are similar in size and shape, their data structure is very different, A hard drive is a magnetic device which stores large amounts of data., Flash drives are popular because they are easy to use., Data can be lost if it is not backed up regularly., Although SSDs are faster than HDDs, they cost more., Optical discs are not commonly used nowadays because they offer less storage., Flash memory is faster than magnetic storage.,
