This is a cocoa plantation in Ghana., Women are pollinating the cocoa flowers ., When the fruit is ripe it changes colour from green to orange., Workers are cutting off the ripe fruits., Workers are carrying the fruits to a big pile., Workers are opening the fruit with machetes, removing the husk and taking out the beans., The white beans are covered with banana-tree leaves so they can ferment., After fermentation the beans are brown., Now the beans have to dry in the sun., Workers are weighing and packing the dry beans., From here it is loaded onto a truck., Trucks are taking the sacks of beans to the warehouse in the city., An inspector is testing the beans for their quality., At the port, cranes are lifting the sacks of beans onto large ships., The beans are now ready for export.,
