Milky Way), SHOOTING STAR, a visual meteor appearing as a temporary streak of light in the night sky, THE MOON, the large round object that circles the Earth and that shines at night by reflecting light from the sun, EARTH, the planet on which we live that is third in order from the sun, SOLAR SYSTEM, the sun together with the group of planets that revolve around it, UNIVERSE, contains billions of galaxies, each containing millions or billions of stars, PLANET, for example Earth, Mars, Jupiter, SATELLITE, an object which orbits the Earth, SKY, the area above the earth in which clouds, the sun, and the stars can be seen, UFO, unindentified flying object, SPACE SHUTTLE, a spacecraft designed to transport people and cargo between earth and space, THE SUN, the star at the center of the solar system. It is a hot ball of gases that gives off great amounts of energy. Life on Earth depends on light and heat from it, TELESCOPE, an instrument that allows people to see distant objects, eg. plantes, stars, galaxies.
