Investigate/Research - Investigating is when you try to find explanation for particular problem without or with very little information known.Researching is based on known facts and/or evidence., respond/reply - to respond = to say or do something as a reaction to something. to reply = to respond to a question by providing an answer (either verbally or not), question/wonder - You don't necessarily expect an answer to wonder. Wonder is being curious., discuss/debate - A discussion usually doesn’t involve taking sides. “I discussed this problem with my wife.” Debate is when you are discussing two topics. Person A thinks one thing and Person B thinks a different thing. They *debate* and make the other person try to understand their opinion. “My friends debated which movie to go see.”, argue/quarrel - "quarrel" = small "argument". "quarrel" is about something small or normal usually. E.g. Why didn't you take out the trash? "Argue" is usually bigger than "quarrel". "Arguement" can be more angry. "Argue" can also mean "debate", inquire/look into - Inquire means you want to know more information about something or somebody. It doesn't have to be as intense as an investigation or research, but you just want to know more about it before making a decision. 'Look into' is when you want to determine and understand the accuracy, condition, or quality of something. The key word is to understand. For example, you are confused by what is happening at work, so you might check on it to understand what's going on.,
