Stage 1 - The Address in the PC is copied to the MAR, Stage 2 - The MAR locates the instruction and adds it to the MDR , Stage 3 - The MDR send the instruction to the CU, Stage 4 - The CU directs the Program Counter to increment to the next instruction.  , Stage 5 - The CU decodes the instruction, Stage 6 - The CU directs the ALU to carry out the Instruction, Stage 7 - The ALU carries out the instruction, Stage 8 - The cycle repeats and goes back to the PC,
