Temperate Forests - A forest made up of trees that lose their leaves in the fall and regrow them in the spring, Rain Forests - A tropical or temperate forests with dense canopies of trees, high rainfall, and lots of biodiversity, Grasslands - A wide area of land mostly covered in grass with very few trees., Rivers - Large flowing bodies of water that move into lakes, oceans, or other rivers., Lakes - Big, still bodies of fresh water surrounded by land, Ponds - Small, still bodies of fresh water surrounded by land., Streams - Smaller flowing bodies of water that usually connect to rivers., Community - All the different living things in an area, like plants, animals, and insects, live together., Population - A group of the same kind of living things in one area, like all the deer in a forest., Habitat - The home of a plant or animal where it can find food, water, and shelter., Ecosystem  - A community of biotic and abiotic things in a certain area that work together to survive., Estuary - A place where fresh water from rivers mixes with salty ocean water., Salt Marsh - A wet, grassy area near the ocean or an estuary where salty water sometimes floods., Terrestrial - Anything that lives on land, like people, bears, and trees., Aquatic  - Anything that lives in water, like fish, turtles, and seaweed.,
