The story begins with a boy named Georgie., Georgie follows his paper boat into a storm drain., A clown named Pennywise appears and grabs Georgie., Children start disappearing in the small town of Derry., A group of kids forms “The Losers Club.”, They are all haunted by terrifying visions., Each vision is connected to their worst fears., Pennywise feeds on fear and chaos., The kids realize Pennywise is not just a clown., They explore the sewers to face the evil., They make a promise to fight him together., Bill wants revenge for Georgie’s death., Beverly is haunted by a bathroom full of blood., Eddie fears disease and sickness the most., Richie jokes, but hides his deep fear., Ben researches Derry’s dark, violent history., Mike sees visions of burning and slaughter., Stan fears a creepy painting that comes alive., Pennywise attacks them using terrifying illusions., They unite and fight back with courage., Pennywise is wounded and disappears underground., They believe he is gone, but make a pact., “If IT returns, we’ll come back too,” they promise., The kids part ways, unsure if it’s truly over., But evil in Derry never stays buried for long..
