I wear different clothes every day. I say lines from a script — not my own words. I pretend to be someone else: a hero, a monster, or a student! Who am I?, an actor, I’m not your everyday clothes. I help you look like a king, a cat, or a superhero. You wear me for a play, a film, or Halloween. What am I?, a costume, I say “Action!” and “Cut!” I tell the actors what to do and where to stand. I have the big idea for the whole film. Who am I?, a director, I use brushes and creams to change faces. I make people look older, younger, or even like dragons! I don’t paint walls — I paint people. Who am I?, a make-up artist, I’m not a table or a chair — I’m a whole room, castle, or forest… but fake! Actors walk on me, talk on me, and film scenes on me. What am I?, a set, I hold a big machine with lens. I follow the actors, move left, right, up, down — carefully! I don’t act — I film the action. Who am I?, a camera operator, I’m not a film — I’m electronic! I take photos or videos and save them on a memory card. You can see the picture right away on my screen. What am I?, a (digital) camera, I’m not the sun, but I make everything bright on set. I help the camera see clearly — even in a dark room. Sometimes I’m big, sometimes soft… but I never shine alone! What am I?, lights, I’m a book of words — but not a story to read for fun. Actors learn their lines from me. Every scene, every pause, every “hello” is written here. What am I?, a script, I listen with big headphones. I make sure voices are loud, music is clear, and there’s no noise from outside. If you hear anything in the film — I helped make it sound good! Who am I?, a sound engineer
