Shahadah, Saying and believing 'there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah', Said throughout a Muslim's life, especially during prayers and important moments, It is the most important belief in Islam and makes someone a Muslim, Salah, Muslims pray five times a day facing Mecca to connect with Allah, 5 times a day, It reminds Muslims of Allah and helps guide their daily life and behaviour, Zakat, Giving 2.5% of savings to help the poor and people in need, Once a year (if they have enough money), It helps reduce poverty and teaches Muslims to be generous and unselfish, Sawm, Fasting from food and drink during daylight hours in the month of Ramadan, Every day during Ramadan (one month each year), It teaches self-control, empathy for the poor, and spiritual reflection, Hajj, A pilgrimage to Mecca where Muslims perform special rituals, One in a lifetime (if they are able), It shows unity among Muslims and obedience to Allah.
