Does not work on SSDs., Incineration, Data destruction method performed by placing files/drives in a hot furnace., Low-Level Formatting, AKA Zero-Filling. Erases all data on the drive, overwrites it with zeroes and makes it harder to recover data., High-Level Formatting, Quick format designed to prepare a hard drive for reuse. Data is easier to recover from drives formatted using this method.
