I went to a football match yesterday, shouted a lot and lost my voice. My choir director says I can’t take part in the concert tonight., I missed my training session this morning because I didn’t set my alarm clock. As a punishment I won’t be able to play in the next match., I got a speeding ticket this morning. I didn’t know that I can’t drive more than 50 kmph in that area. I don’t have money for the fine., My dog ran into a public garden where dogs aren’t allowed to go and ruined the flowers. I feel really awful about it., I’ve booked a short break in Paris to celebrate my birthday, but my boss has told me that I can’t take the time off. I don’t know what to do., In my old job I could work flexi-time, but in my new job I can’t. I'm finding it difficult to manage my job and my family commitments., I'm having a party with all my friends tonight to celebrate moving to a new village. My neighbours say I can’t have the party because parties are banned in the village., I want a cat, but my landlord says that I can’t keep one in his flat. I feel really lonely there on my own without a pet., I told my teenage son that he couldn’t stay out late last night, but he got home at midnight on a school night. It’s the third time he’s done it this month., I couldn’t take my normal route to work this morning, so I was late for a really important meeting. My boss is threatening to fire me.
