The other important people are her mean stepmother and stepsisters, a friendly fairy godmother, and the young prince., Plot, Cinderella wants to go to the prince’s royal dance, but her step-family refuses to let her. A fairy godmother appears and gives her a magic coach, a beautiful ball-gown and a pair of glass shoes. Cinderella dances with the prince, but she must leave at midnight. She runs away and loses one glass shoe. The prince searches the kingdom with the shoe, finds Cinderella and marries her., Theme, The theme, or main idea, is “Kindness wins.” I know this because Cinderella keeps being kind even when life is unfair, and in the end her good heart brings her love and happiness.
