flight zone, invisible area around an animal that is maintained from a humun/stimlus, this varies in size and depends on the animals environment, genetics and experiences, flight zone, Does a flight zone increase or decrease when an animal becomes excited, increases, what does high pitched noises do to animals, increases their stress, what happens when a human or stimulus enters a flight zone, the animal will move away, point of balance, an imaginary point usually at the animals shoulder, which direction will an animal move if a handler stands behind the point of balance, forward, which direction will an animal move if a handler stands in front of the point of balance, backward, in a chute, livestock will move forward without prodding when a handler does what, walks past the point of balance in the opposite direction of the animal, behaviour modification is also known as, training, reinforcement, this increases the behavior, positive, when you add something, positive reinforcement, you add a stimulus to increase a behavior, a highly desired form of training , positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, removing something, punishment , makes a behavior decrease, positive punishment, add an unpleasant stimulus to decrease a behavior, negative punishment, remove a stimulus to decrease behavior.
