Then Jack realised the mammoth, given the name "Lulu", pulled them out of the pit., Afterwards, the mammoth knelt, and the sorcerer helped Jack climb on., Next, the sorcerer gave Jack a smooth white bone with four holes., Jack recognised the white bone as the sorcerer's flute., Jack also remembered that the book said they made flutes from Mammoth bones., 9. Finally, Jack figured out that the mammoth-boned flute must be the next special "M" thing., The sorcerer didn't speak to Jack and Annie, but whispered something to the mammoth., Immediately, the mammoth stood and began to march across the snow., When the mammoth moved, Jack looked back and noticed the sorcerer had vanished., 13. Moving forward, Annie said the mammoth was headed towards the treehouse., As the mammoth walked across the snowy plain, Jack and Annie saw other animals., Elk, reindeer, rhino and bison moved along with them, at a distance, like a parade., 16. Suddenly, a sabertooth appeared. The mammoth let out a cry. All the other animals fled., The mammoth rushed into the grove of trees, but the tiger circled the trees., The sabertooth moved closer. Jack, Annie, and the mammoth were all trapped and afraid.
