Sounds! We hear all sorts of them., Put sounds together and create a tune, and we have music., There is no place on the face of the Earth where people do not sing and treat music as an art., Music plays a big role in our lives., Can you think of a day without it?, We hear music everywhere: in the street, in shops, in parks, and at home., Music has followed us since childhood, and we can't live without it., You can’t touch it, you can’t eat it, and you can’t see it., So, why do people enjoy music so much?, In the primitive age, when a man had no culture, when he was as wild as the other wild animals, he sang –– he sang to express his feelings, whether of joy or sorrow., Music was his language through which he expressed how he felt., It appeals to the feelings and makes us forget our joys and sorrows so long as we listen to it., Music is a powerful tool that can influence people's ideas and opinions either positively or negatively., Slow music promotes rest, meditation, and a sense of well-being., It is used in elevators to keep people calm in close quarters., Quicker rhythms make us move faster, which is why light, rapidly-paced music is used in stores — to get us to actively look at the products and buy more., Very fast and loud music arouses, agitates, and energizes us., Music reflects our life, our feelings, and emotions., There are a lot of kinds of music: classical music, jazz, popular music or pop music, rock and club music., Musicians use many instruments to create this beautiful music: accordions, drums, flutes, grand pianos, guitars, harps, microphones, saxophones, and violins., As for me, I like different types of music., The choice of music I’m listening to at the moment depends greatly on my mood., But I should say that one of my favorite bands is “One Direction”., All their songs catch your attention completely., Their sample makes me believe in true friendship., “One Direction” is an Anglo-Irish boy band., It was founded in 2010 in London., There are five members in the group., Each of them has been on “The X Factor” with a solo performance, but later they were offered to participate in the show as one group., In August 2011 they released their first single, which topped the world charts and stayed there for quite a long time., I think they are worth not only hearing but also seeing. “One Direction” makes wonderful performances during concerts., They always sing live, they are funny, they fool around, and they’re happy.
