Try to vary the way, you run feedback on exercises., If you tell a story to set a model,, make sure it really is interesting. Use humour, make it real., If some techniques are INTRODUCED on CELTA,, it is a good idea to USE them., If you are monitoring,, don't get stuck with one student for a long time - keep moving., If you see that your time is up,, please stop as soon as possible, even if you have to cut a stage., If you are setting the context (with pictures or a story),, involve the Sts through prediction etc., For all materials you use,, add a copyright (where you took this from) at the bottom of the page., If you are drilling a phrase,, consider backchaining (getting the Sts to repeat from the end rather than the start), Give instructions, before materials!, Once the Sts are on task, stop talking and repeating instructions - let them be!
