Think of a lower-level student in one of your classes. What usually happens when they get the exact same task as everyone else?, If you make a task too easy for a struggling student, what's the risk? What might they miss out on?, What's one small change you could make to a task — without changing what it's actually about — to help a weaker student succeed?, How much support is "too much"? How do you know when you're helping a student versus doing the task for them?, Look at a task from your textbook. What's one part of it that might be hard for a lower-level student? Just that one part — not the whole task., If you changed that one hard part, would the student still be learning the same thing as the rest of the class?
