Over the last three weeks, I sometimes mistook being busy for being productive., -, A few relatively minor issues took up more headspace than they deserved., =it occupies a lot of your thoughts or mental energy., At times, I got ahead of myself and worried about situations before I had enough information., -, I let other people’s urgency dictate my priorities more often than I would like to admit., -, I kept at least one important issue on the back burner because dealing with smaller tasks felt easier., =to postpone it while focusing on other things., I may have spread myself too thin by trying to stay equally involved in too many things., =to take on so many activities or responsibilities that you cannot give enough time or energy to each one., There were moments when I was running on autopilot instead of consciously deciding how I wanted to spend my time., -, I focused so much on keeping all the plates spinning that I did not stop to ask whether every responsibility was still necessary., =to successfully manage many different tasks or responsibilities at the same time., While dealing with immediate problems, I occasionally lost sight of the bigger picture., =to focus so much on details or immediate issues that you forget the main goal or wider situation., The last three weeks showed me that I need to draw the line somewhere and take at least one responsibility off my plate., =to set a clear limit or boundary
