Toby likes to hop and run in the thick mud. He gets his soft fur all wet and messy. His owner, Glen, gives Toby a bath in a big tub. Now Toby is a clean and happy pup on his mat., The King and His Gold Ring, The king sits on his big throne in the hall. He has a bright gold ring on his left hand. A bad thief wants to take the shiny ring from him. But the brave king hides his gold ring in a safe chest. The king is safe in his home and lock the door., The Black Duck on the Rock, A big black duck sits on a wet rock by the lake. Click, clack! Goes his yellow bill as he looks for food. The duck sees a small fish swimming in the creek. He jumps off the rock with a big splash to catch it. Quack, quack! What a fast and clever duck!, A Bike Ride with Kate, Dale and Kate get on their bikes to go for a ride. They ride down the long path all the way to the lake. The wind is strong, but they ride fast and safe. Kate closes the big wooden gate when they get back home. They drink a cold glass of milk on the deck., The Secret Spot by the Tree, Sam and Jane walk to the old pine tree by the hill. They made a secret spot under the big tree branches. Jane brings a long rope and Sam brings a small tin box. They put their secret toys and snacks inside the box. "This is the best hideout!" said Sam with a grin., Pete and Mark’s Game, Pete and Mark like to play a game after class. They run fast and hide behind the big stone wall. Pete stays quiet so Mark cannot find his spot. Mark looks up and down, then spots Pete behind the wall. They both laugh out loud and run to play again.
